Your helper and channels

You have one helper. Channels keep it focused on one part of your life at a time, each with its own notes, files and computer.

One helper, everywhere

Your helper has one name, one look and one personality, in every channel and in your texts. You choose the character, the name and the tone when you sign up. There's no place in the app to change them afterwards yet.

Channels

Your workspace is made of channels, like General, Home, Money or Studio. Each one is a project your helper keeps separate, so your notes about bills never get mixed up with your notes about flyers.

  • General is home base. Talk about anything there. It can also see what your helper learned in every other channel, and look up saved tasks, conversations and current checklists across your channels.
  • Other channels see their own notes plus your Contacts.
  • Make one with + (New channel) in the side rail, or from the channel switcher on a phone. Give it a name and say what it's for. You can have up to 25 channels, General included.
Start with General. It can handle anything. Add a channel when a topic keeps coming up. You can ask your helper in General to create a channel and start work there, or split several jobs into a plan.

What each channel keeps

  • A Notebook of what your helper learned there. See Memory.
  • Tasks, past and present. See Tasks.
  • A Library of every file made, downloaded or added there. See Library.
  • A computer that sleeps when it isn't needed. See Its computer.
  • Saved skills: ways of doing things you asked your helper to keep for that channel. See Skills.

Deleting a channel

A channel can be deleted (you type its name to confirm). Everything in it goes for good: tasks, files, notes, schedules. See Privacy.
