Let it into your apps

Connecting Google, Canva and the rest means your helper works right in your files, so you don't have to copy and paste.

Connect one app

Ask "can you check my Google Sheets?" and your helper shows a Connect card in the chat. Or open Apps (the grid icon), search, and tap Connect. Sign in on the app's own page and allow access, and you're done.

Your connections are listed in Settings → Connected accounts. Got a work and a personal Gmail? Open the app's page and use Add another account. Then tap Add a note for your helper under each one ("my work email"), so it knows which to use without asking.

Apps connect through Composio. Most people stay on Managed, the default, and there's nothing to set up. If you'd rather your connections live in your own Composio account, the next lesson shows how.

See it in your files

Open the sheet yourself, then ask your helper to change it. The changes land in your real file, the same as any other edit. The same goes for Docs and Canva.

Move Starry Night to Sunday the 12th and add the two new bookings from my inbox.
Row 3 now says Oct 12, and Booked went from 14 to 16. I drafted a confirmation to both people from your Gmail with your usual sign-off. Send them?

Files go both ways

Ask "save the attachment from Sam's email" and it lands in your Library. Ask "email the invoice PDF to Sam" and your helper can attach it from the Library and send it as requested, within your chosen permissions. See Files and apps.

Your request and permissions set the limits

Ordinary app work you request, including sending, editing and deleting, can run without another confirmation. Payment and API-key operations stay protected; stricter permissions can add asks. With two email accounts connected and no clear choice, it asks which one to check. See Asking first.

Try it

Connect the one app you keep open next to 1Helm, and ask your helper to make a change in it.
